Maximising space in a town centre garden…

We had a call from a client with a town garden that was in need of a refresh. In particular, making good an unsightly and precarious area at the back of their tiered garden. The main focus was the requirement for watertight storage to replace the collapsing shed while creating a new decked area, making use of every square foot of garden.

We dug back and retained the upper level at the back of the garden, then added the watertight storage area which we decked on top using hardwood Iroko decking, installing some steps for access to a new dining area on top.

There was a small pond covered with a metal grate which we removed, cleaned and painted before replacing at our required levels while paving. All paving was replaced and artificial turf on the lower tier as a zero-maintenance option for that section of the garden.

The outcome was a fantastic refresh to an already well laid out garden, creating a whole new fresh feel and also, all the storage space needed and an added area for outside dining.
